Funded PhD opportunity

We are looking for applicants for an exciting new PhD project investigating the physiology of adult human and rodent sensory neurons (Dorsal Root Ganglion neurons) with the goal of establishing new models for studying pain processing and aiding development of pain therapies. This project is being conducted in Dr Gareth Miles’ lab in collaboration with us here in the Doherty lab, researchers in Glasgow, and an industrial partner based in the Cambridge area, Metrion Biosciences.
